Hi all ...
Yes, I know, it's been very quiet here since I began this blog, full of enthusiasm, plans, and good resolutions ... But see, I didn't forget about it completely, although life has been a busy nightmare recently.
Of course when watching vids and visiting blogs it always looks much easier to do a journal page or something. These days I at least gave it a try. I found a picture of a mask from an exhibition at one of the many museums around here and I planned to do something with it. Since I'm thinking a lot about people wearing masks, how I could get rid of my own or even if I want to take it off and towards whom ... I came up with this.
I really wish my handwriting was much prettier :-P
I used a moleskine watercolor book and:
acrylic paint, various stencils, stamp images (paper artsy, de stempelwinkel, smeared ink), gesso white and black, stickles glue, watercolor pencils, neocolor II, tissue paper, crackle medium, images from flyers.
I can't thank you enough to have a look at this :-)
Hugs, Suzanne xxx

Well, I think you have made a great start! I think your writing is fine too, it is part of you after all..... the mask is just beautiful. Anne xx
ReplyDeleteCan't believe this is your first attempt! Looks fab, certainly a natural. Wish my writing was better, yours is certainly fine so don't worry. I've still got my mask on, not sure it'll ever come off, getting too old now, lol xx
